So, why now...why do I want to start blogging again? Well, there are a few reasons:
1. We are now expecting! Baby Burns is due August 2. I want to be able to share the trials and happiness from maternity with others who are going through this process for the first time.

2. Eating healthy and working out while pregnant has become a passion and interest of mine since we found out. I know the working out part may sound like an oxymoron, but I also realize that I do not want to gain more weight than necessary for the health of the baby. I worked really hard pre-pregnancy to be healthy and fit and throwing it down the drain because that is the acceptable philosophy just doesn't sit well with me.
This is not a time for me to go "hog-wild" on eating whatever I want. Some may disagree with this philosophy. Think about it this way though...everything you eat, your baby is eating. Would I prefer that our baby is exposed to fruits & vegetables or fried food while in the womb? I also know that as good as that fried pickle may taste when I eat it; it will not feel so warm and fuzzy as my body is trying to process all of the oil and processed breading that comes with it. I am by no means saying I am perfect because I am definitely not! I just want to be more conscious of what I am putting into my body especially now that I am responsible for another human life. Don't worry, I have and will continue to gain weight at a normal progression for the pregnancy!
3. Continued work on my progression in photography. If you personally know me, you know that I love to take pictures! I want to share my inspiration and pictures that I have taken and will take in the future.
With that being said, I would like to share my food diary for a day and what workouts I am doing. I also love organizing and since we just moved into a new house...there is a lot of that going on.
